Reader Mail: Quit Smoking Blog
I am in the process of trying to quit smoking, and it is very difficult. I have been on Wellbutrin for over a month now, and the secret with Wellbutrin is to quit after two weeks of taking the medicine. Otherwise, it doesn't work as well. I have smoked at least one pack per day for 8 years. Now that I have gotten down to one cigarette per day, my lungs are killing me and I am having a hard time breathing. I can feel my lungs retaliating and it is making my back feel like it is in a thousand spasms. Is this a normal symptom of withdrawl?
I've heard that Wellbutin works. A friend of mine tried it. That's a good tip. Your spasms sound very irregular. I think you should see a doctor for sure. Good luck quitting!
