Quit Smoking Blog: I've Got A Headache
I recently spent a weekend in Vegas having fun with my college buddies. The problem with that was that I was around smokers constantly, so guess what? I smoked... a lot over a 2 day period.
Today I feel horrible. My lungs hurt and my throat hurts. My head hurts and I just feel bad. I don't want to smoke anymore, and I didn't want to smoke then, but the allure of "fun" and alcohol just brought it all back for a brief time period. This quitting smoking thing is very hard.

I am in the process of trying to quit smoking, and it is very difficult. I have been on Wellbutrin for over a month now, and the secret with Wellbutrin is to quit after two weeks of taking the medicine. Otherwise, it doesn't work as well. I have smoked at least one pack per day for 8 years. Now that I have gotten down to one cigarette per day, my lungs are killing me and I am having a hard time breathing. I can feel my lungs retaliating and it is making my back feel like it is in a thousand spasms. Is this a normal symptom of withdrawl?

I am an ex-smoker who smoked for 14 years trying to quit smoking. Finally I figured out that I was following a smoking pattern. i had smoking related associations which were based on events and emotions. For example, smoking with a cup of coffee was event based association in my mind, smoking when angry was an emotion based association. Once I figured out all these assocations, I broke them one at a time and now i am smoke free. I have written a book about my technique as well. Please visit http://www.splendorllc.com/products.htm
